  • We sell new, used, and vintage books, ranging from baby to adult. We sell both paperback and hardcover books. We also have a free bookshelf available on our porch!

  • We unfortunately do not buy books at this time.

  • Yes! We are so grateful for our book donations. In return, you will receive a 15% off coupon for your next purchase. However, we are unable to accept mass market paperbacks, textbooks, or encyclopedias.

  • Every book deserves a good home. If we can’t home it, we will find it one! Any books we are unable to utilize from donations get curated and sent out to one of our partnerships for their libraries to use. Our partnerships are currently with the Syracuse Veterans Hospital and several local school districts.

  • We have a parking lot located behind the bookshop that is free for anyone to use. There is also free street parking in front of the shop and all up and down East Main St!

  • Yes. Give us a call at 315-494-1075 to request a book or ask for a hold and we will hold it for 14 days.

  • Cash, card (American Express, Discover, Mastcard, VISA, whatever other ones there are), check, Venmo, CashApp, coins….. however you want to pay for your books, we’ll take it.

  • Yes, we do! We sell physical gift certificates in store, but we are unable to sell them online. If you are not local to Marcellus, we can certainly process a gift certificate with card over the phone and mail them out to you!
